Brian studied painting, drawing, and illustration of all kinds from 1986-1991 at “The Jasar’s School of Drawing and Illustration” in Sayville, NY. (Jasar’s has recently relocated to Orlando, FL). After leaving school Brian lived in Miami from 1991-1994 where he continued developing his art, and exploring many creative styles, at the world renownedart-themed restaurant Café Tu Tu Tango, in the heart of Coconut Grove. While there he displayed at the Coconut Grove Art Fest, Vizcaya Art Exhibit, and many others including the Deering Estate Arts Festival.
He was selected to do the Poster Art for Deering Estate in 1992 and ‘93. Brian Moved to Charlotte, NC in ‘94 and further continued exploring his creativity, and displayed at many of the local festivals including Matthews Art Festival, and LakeFest at Lake Norman for which he did the T-Shirt Designs for both. He won best in show at LakeFest in 1997.
Brian has since made his living as a T-Shirt graphic designer, and is currently employed at SMI properties doing T-Shirt graphics for Speedway Motorsports Inc, Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and NASCAR. He is back with new inspiration and a new series of wildlife art which he is displaying for the first time at the 2009 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston SC. He is also a member of the Carolina Raptor Center for which he will promote an all bird juried art show this year.
